Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has officially announced the RITES Engineering Professionals Recruitment 2025–26 to fill 18 vacancies across multiple engineering and management positions. This recruitment drive invites qualified and experienced professionals to join one of India’s premier public sector engineering consultancies. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official website rites.com from 23 December 2025 to 27 January 2026.
This recruitment covers senior, managerial, and assistant managerial roles in ports, waterways, coastal engineering, civil engineering, and human resources disciplines. Selected candidates will be appointed on attractive pay scales with additional benefits as per RITES norms.

RITES Engineering Educational Qualification
RITES Engineering Candidates must possess the required academic qualifications as per the post applied for:
- Ports & Waterways / Coastal Engineering Posts:
Master’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent disciplines. - Port Planning Post:
Master’s Degree in Transport Engineering, Transport Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field. - Civil/PPS Post:
Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering along with certification in project planning software such as Primavera or MS Project. - HR Posts:
MBA / PGDM / PGDBA / PGDHRM or equivalent qualification with specialization in HR, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, or Labour Welfare.
Only candidates meeting the prescribed qualifications will be considered.
RITES Engineering Pay Scale and Salary Structure
RITES Engineering offers highly competitive remuneration based on the post level:

Selection Process
The RITES Engineering Professionals Selection Process consists of the following stages:
1. Written Examination
- Objective-type test with 125 questions
- Duration: 2.5 hours
- No negative marking
- PwBD candidates will receive 50 minutes of compensatory time
2. Qualifying Marks
- UR / EWS: Minimum 50% marks
- SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PwBD: Minimum 45% marks
3. Document Verification and Interview
- Shortlisting based on written test performance
- Verification of original certificates
- Final interview conducted by RITES
