Indian Coast Guard Educational Qualification – Option 1

• Master’s Degree in Economics / Commerce / Statistics / Business Studies / Public Administration from a recognized university or institute
• Minimum 1 year of experience in handling stores and maintaining accounts in:
  • Central / State Government
  • PSU / Autonomous Body
  • Bank / University / Recognized Institution
  • Private sector organization listed on the Stock Exchange of India

Educational Qualification – Option 2

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics / Commerce / Statistics / Business Studies / Public Administration
  OR
• Diploma in Material Management / Warehousing Management / Purchasing / Logistics / Public Procurement
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned organizations

Age Limit (As on Application Closing Date)

• Maximum age: 30 years
• Age relaxation:
  • 5 years for SC candidates
  • Up to 5 years for Government servants
  • Other categories as per Central Government rules

Pay Scale and Salary Structure

Candidates selected for the Foreman of Stores post will be placed under Pay Level – 6 as per the 7th Pay Commission.

• Monthly Salary: ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400
• Additional allowances such as DA, HRA, and other benefits will be applicable as per rules of the Indian Coast Guard.
