Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements to attend the walk-in interview:
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Technical Apprentice: B.E or B.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in relevant engineering branches
- Graduate Non-Technical Apprentice: B.Com (Computers) or B.Sc (Computers)
Year of Passing
- Only candidates who passed their qualifying examination in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible to apply.
Stipend Details
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per government norms:
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹12,300 per month
- Technician Apprentices: ₹10,900 per month
The stipend amount will be paid in two parts:
- 50% by DREL (DRDO)
- 50% by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the candidate’s bank account.

Selection Process
- Selection will be done purely based on Walk-in Interview performance.
- Candidates must carry original educational certificates, one set of self-attested photocopies, and a duly filled application form at the time of interview.
General Instructions
- The duration of apprenticeship training will be one year.
- This apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment in DRDO.
- Reservation rules will be followed as per government guidelines.
- Candidates must be registered on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) with complete KYC, Aadhaar seeding, and bank details.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification.
