Bank Of India Vacancy Distribution (Scale-wise)
The 514 Credit Officer vacancies are distributed across the following scales:
- MMGS-II: 418 posts
- MMGS-III: 60 posts
- SMGS-IV: 36 posts
The number of vacancies is provisional and may be modified based on the bank’s operational requirements.
Bank Of India Educational Qualification & Experience
Applicants must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university with at least 60% aggregate marks. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks (minimum 55%).
If the degree is awarded in CGPA or OGPA format, it must be converted into percentage as per university norms. Fractions will be ignored during calculation.
In addition to academic qualification, candidates must have relevant experience in credit operations or banking roles, as specified scale-wise in the official notification. Experience certificates will be verified during the interview stage.
Age Limit (As on 01 November 2025)
- MMGS-II: 25 to 35 years
- MMGS-III: 28 to 38 years
- SMGS-IV: 30 to 40 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-creamy layer): 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen & specific categories: As per government rules
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary along with allowances and benefits as per Bank of India rules:
- MMGS-II: ₹64,820 – ₹93,960 per month
- MMGS-III: ₹85,920 – ₹105,280 per month
- SMGS-IV: ₹1,02,300 – ₹1,20,940 per month
Additional perks include DA, HRA, medical benefits, leave benefits, and other officer-level allowances.

- SC/ST/PWD Candidates: ₹175 (Intimation charges only)
- General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹850

Selection Process
The selection procedure may include an online examination and/or personal interview, depending on the number of eligible applicants.

- English Language (Qualifying): 25 Marks
- Reasoning Ability: 25 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Marks
- Professional Knowledge: 75 Marks
- Total: 150 Marks (120 minutes)
Negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply for each incorrect answer.
Interview:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. Final selection will be based on combined performance in the online test and interview (if both are conducted).
