PSSSB Junior Engineer Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum: Three-Year Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized State Technical Board or Government Institution.
- Higher Qualification: B.Tech/B.E in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is also eligible.
- Language Requirement: Candidates must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject or an equivalent examination in Punjabi.
- Desirable: Degree in the relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age (General Category): 37 years
- SC/BC of Punjab: 42 years
- Physically Handicapped: 47 years
- State/Central Government Employees, Ex-Servicemen, and women candidates receive age relaxation as per Punjab government rules.
Important Note : Candidates who previously applied under the Local Government Department’s 2015 advertisement and paid the fees as per the High Court order will be granted age relaxation without paying the fee again.
PSSSB Junior Engineer Salary & Benefits

Selection Process
The PSSSB Junior Engineer recruitment involves four main stages:
