BEML Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess post-wise required qualifications as prescribed by BEML. Eligible qualifications include:
- First Class B.Tech / B.E in relevant engineering disciplines
- M.E / M.Tech (where applicable)
- CA / ICMAI / CMA
- MBA (Finance)
- PG Degree / Diploma in HR, IR, Personnel Management, MSW or MA Social Work
- Master’s Degree in Hindi with English at graduation level
- Diploma (for Diploma Trainee posts)
- Graduate Degree (for Office Assistant Trainee posts)
👉 First Class means 60% aggregate marks (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST and PwD candidates).
Age Limit (As on 07 January 2026)
The upper age limit varies according to post and category:
- Deputy General Manager: Up to 50 years (SC/ST), 48 years (OBC)
- Assistant General Manager: Up to 47 years (SC/ST), 45 years (OBC)
- Senior Manager: Up to 44 years (SC/ST), 42 years (OBC)
- Manager: Up to 39 years (SC/ST), 37 years (OBC)
- Officer / Engineer / Assistant Engineer: Up to 34 years (SC/ST), 32 years (OBC)
- Diploma & Office Assistant Trainees: Up to 34 years (SC/ST), 32 years (OBC)
🔹 PwD candidates are eligible for an additional 10 years age relaxation.
🔹 Maximum age including all relaxations should not exceed 57 years.
Salary / Stipend Details
BEML offers attractive pay scales based on the post:
- Deputy General Manager: ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000
- Assistant General Manager: ₹80,000 – ₹2,20,000
- Senior Manager: ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000
- Manager: ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000
- Officer / Engineer: ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000
- Assistant Engineer: ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000
Trainee Stipend:
- Diploma Trainee: ₹17,000 (1st year), ₹20,500 & ₹25,500 (contract period)
- Office Assistant Trainee: ₹20,000 (1st year), ₹23,500 (2nd year)
Additional benefits include DA, HRA/Company accommodation, PF, Gratuity and performance-related pay as per BEML rules.
