The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a short notification UPSC CGPDTM for the recruitment of CGPDTM Examiner posts for the year 2025. Through this recruitment drive, UPSC aims to fill 102 vacancies in various examiner-level positions under the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM). Candidates who have completed graduation from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

UPSC CGPDTM Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university or institution. The degree should be obtained before the closing date of online application submission. Detailed discipline requirements, if any, will be as per UPSC guidelines mentioned in the official notification.
UPSC CGPDTM Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
Age Relaxation
Upper age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD and other reserved categories as per Government of India rules applicable through UPSC.
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
- Pay Scale: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month
In addition to basic pay, employees will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) and other benefits admissible to central government employees.
