AFCAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For Flying Branch:

• Must have completed Graduation with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level or hold a B.E/B.Tech degree from a recognized university.

For Ground Duty (Technical):

• Must hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering stream.

For Ground Duty (Non-Technical):

• Must possess a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Administration, Accounts, Logistics, or Education.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2027):

• Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years
• Ground Duty Branches: 20 to 26 years
  (Upper age relaxation up to 26 years for valid DGCA CPL holders)

AFCAT Salary, Allowances & Benefits

Selected officers will receive a Level 10 pay scale ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500, with a Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹15,500.
During training, cadets will get a monthly stipend of ₹56,100.
Additional benefits include Flying Allowance, Technical Allowance, Transport Allowance, and Risk & Hardship Allowances, depending on posting and duties.
